The acclaimed Amadeus Choir is 35 years old! An anniversary concert entitled AMADEUS – MOZART, conducted by Artistic Director Lydia Adams, takes place on Saturday, April 10, 2010, at 7:30 p.m.

The specially chosen program of the concert features works from among Mozart’s finest choral music. His beloved Requiem, K 626, and the less well known but equally beautiful Vespers, K 339, will be performed by the 80 smoothly-blended voices of the Amadeus Choir and orchestra, with the outstanding Canadian guest soloists: soprano Rebecca Whelan, mezzo-soprano Christina Stelmacovich, tenor Darryl Edwards and baritone Matthew Cassils.

 Adult tickets: $35, Student tickets: $10 (at the door only). General seating.
Location : Yorkminster Baptist Church, 1585 Yonge Street (one blocK north of St Clair Ave)
